Stephen is a genuinely caring, friendly subspecialised radiologist in obstetrics and gynaecology with a wicked sense of humour. His wealth of experience and dedication to getting the right answer from his scans makes him a trusted resource for your treating doctor. He is well respected amongst his peers and has a very collaborative approach to your care, involving other specialists when needed.
He has pioneered fetal MRI in Brisbane at the RBWH, starting with its first introduction in 2000. He has a passion for ultrasound and MRI and leaves no stone unturned in his endeavour to reach a diagnosis. He loves sharing his experiences and knowledge and is actively involved in teaching registrars, radiologists, sonographers, other specialists and GPs.
Stephen has personally experienced some of the complications of a twin pregnancy and understands the stressors that pregnancy and early family life can have on couples. His calming demeanour is very reassuring.
He loves to travel, read with his children, and play backyard ‘international’ team sports.
